100% of the diet of our grass-fed animals consists of rotationaly grazed fresh pastures and stored grasses (hay). Free choice mineral and salt supplementation is provided.

Animals raised without feeding genetically modified organisms such as GMO corn or soybeans.

Hormones or steroids never administered to animals. (The Canadian Organic Standard does not allow the use hormones or antibiotics in the production of beef, lamb, goat, pork or poultry.)

It can be hard to find meats that are produced without any drugs or antibiotics. *If we have an individual animal that is ill or injured, we work with our vet to ensure their quality of life and health and safety. If they require drugs and/or antibiotics, we clearly identify them and remove them from our organic production stream.

All animals in this selection, including beef, pork, chicken, goat, duck and lamb, were raised in an open pasture as seasons allowed.

To farrow our piglets, they are seasonally accommodated during winter.
