Local Turkey - Preorder - Meeting Place Organic Farm

TURKEYS WILL BE FROZEN

Danny, who raised our turkeys the past couple years surprised us by moving and not raising them. We were a little surprised by this when we contacted him at the end of August to see how they'd grown and how many he thought he'd have for October.

So, through a network of connections, we've found Kevin Snyder. Turkeys are gmo free, drug free, raised on organic feed in an open air shed on his certified organic farm.

Turkeys are $10/lb, and will average between 14-20 lbs. You are welcome to specify your size preference (in the Order Notes in your shopping cart), but we cannot make any guarantees – it is not as easy to control the weights of a bird on pasture, compared to a factory-farmed bird.

If you'd like a turkey for thanksgiving - I would recommend planning on getting it the week before the week of Thanksgiving if you have space, as you'll need to defrost it.

Pick up at the farm is still recommended and preferred. Please note, we will be away October 9th-11th for a funeral.

Deliveries the week of Thanksgiving are: October 7-9th:

Zone M – Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hill

Zone L – Hamilton, Burlington, Dundas, Ancaster

Zone F – Niagara Region, Welland, St. Catharines

We can also deliver via Indie Food for the week of Thanksgiving to other zones.
