What day will my order arrive?

We deliver within a Wednesday to Friday window  not on a single guaranteed day. Here is exactly how it works:

  1. When you place your order, you will know your delivery week.
  2. On the Monday of that week, we will send you an email with your specific delivery day — Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
  3. Your order arrives at your door that day, during daytime hours.

We are not able to guarantee an exact day when you place your order, and we know that requires a little planning on your end. We appreciate your flexibility, it is what allows us to run an efficient route and keep delivery costs reasonable for everyone.

If one day in the window works better for you than the others, just add a note at checkout or reply to any of our emails. We will do our best to accommodate you, though we cannot always guarantee it.

Who delivers my order?

Depending on your zone, your order may be delivered by our farm team directly, or by one of our trusted delivery partners

  • Eat Local Huron — serving Huron County and surrounding areas
  • Springhills Fish — co-delivering to select Ontario zones, bringing their sustainable seafood alongside our farm products (a great way to stock your freezer with both)
  • Indie Foods — an expanding service currently being tested for additional zones

All partners are carefully chosen and share our commitment to local food and good service. If your order is being handled by a partner, it will be noted when you check out.

What does delivery cost?

Delivery is $35 + HST ($39.55).

In Huron County we offer free shipping for orders over $250.

For everywhere else in our Ontario delivery area we offer free shipping for orders over $250-500 depending on the delivery zone.

How are my products packaged for delivery?

All meat products ares delivered frozen and packed carefully to stay that way from our farm in Lucknow all the way to your door.

What if I am not home when my order arrives?

Because your order arrives frozen, it is important that it gets brought inside the same day. Frozen meat left outside in warm weather will begin to thaw within a few hours and cannot be safely refrozen once thawed.

If you will not be home on your delivery day, please make a plan in advance:

  • Leave a cooler with ice packs in a shaded spot (a covered porch, garage, or side entrance works well)
  • Ask a neighbour to bring it in

We are not able to take responsibility for orders that spoil because they were left outside for an extended period. We want your meat to reach your freezer in perfect condition so a little planning goes a long way.

If you are ever unsure which day in the window your delivery will come, watch for the Monday email or contact us and we will confirm.

Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes. We have pickup locations across Ontario for customers who prefer to collect their order in person. Pickup is a great option if delivery does not yet reach your area, or if you prefer the flexibility of choosing your own day.

How do I place an order?

Browse our online store, add what you want to your cart, and check out. You will see your delivery date or pickup options at checkout based on your address. We recommend creating an account so your delivery zone and preferences are saved for future orders.

When do I need to order by?

We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice for orders that are being picked up here at the farm.  We are a small, family-run farm with three small kids and between caring for our animals, managing pasture, packing orders, and making deliveries, that lead time helps us do everything well. We appreciate your understanding and will always do our best to accommodate when we can.

For delivery, online orders need to be completed in the farm store by midnight the Sunday before your zones next delivery window.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Because our products are packed to order, and then shipped with delivery partners they may have already left the farm when you request a change. We will always do our best to work with you.

What products do you deliver?

We deliver everything in our online store, including:

  • 100% grass fed and grass finished beef
  • Pastured pork, including heritage Mangalitsa
  • Pasture raised chicken and duck
  • Organic eggs
  • Local lamb and goat
  • Organic apple butter, and apple cider vinegar
  • Local honey and maple syrup
  • Grass fed butter
  • And more, seasonally

All our meat is frozen at the time of delivery to preserve quality and flavour.  We sometimes have season fresh products like apples available - these are mostly for local customers as they don't ship long distances well.

What if I live outside your current delivery zones?

We are always working to expand. If your area is not yet covered, sign up for our newsletter and we will let you know when new zones open.
